Kebbi State TESCOM/Teachers Shortlisted Candidates, For (Junior—Secondary School) Teaching Positions

Congratulations to all applicants, as the management of Kebbi State TESCOM has finally shortlisted the names of successful candidates for junior and secondary school teaching positions. So all applicants in all the 21 local government areas who applied for the Kebbi State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) teaching jobs are to check the PDF list of shortlisted candidates to see if their names are listed as candidates who will be invited for more consideration.

It is important to note, however, that the Kebbi State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has shortlisted about 2000 names of successful candidates, although not all applicants who applied got shortlisted.

Candidates whose names fall within the 2000 shortlisted names released will be invited for a screening of credentials, an interview and a qualifying examination.

All concerned applicants, especially those whose names were shortlisted in any of the teaching subject areas, are advised to take note of the Kebbi State teachers’ screening date and time, including that of their interview and qualifying examination have been made available on the state’s official portal.

The Kebbi State government has announced that the recruitment of public school teachers in the state will greatly enhance the quality of education in Kebbi State.

FURTHER RECRUITMENT PROCESSES

All shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening as dates, time and center on when this exercise will commence have been made available on the state’s official portal: https://kebbistate.gov.ng/.

Therefore, all applicants who applied for any of the teaching subject areas for 2023/2024 are expected to have checked if they were shortlisted and report with their original documents as it was submitted during the time of online application, if their names were listed on the list of shortlisted candidates.

However, it is crucial to note that the screening of documents is mandatory for all candidates whose names were listed in the 2023 and 2024 PDF lists of shortlisted candidates, and any of the candidates who were not seen on the screening day will be disqualified.

Kebbi State TESCOM Screening Requirements

All candidates must bring their original documents. These documents are the certificates that were stated on the application form during the concluded online application process. The following are as follows:

  • Their shortlisted print-out

  • All academic certificates

  • Identification card (voter’s card, driving license, etc.)

  • Certificate of state of origin

  • Certificate of birth or declaration of age

  • Passport photographs

  • Other supporting documents.

All concerned candidates must come with the documents above, as they will have to present them to the Kebbi State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) screening committee during the 2023/2024 screening exercise.

Candidates are also reminded to bring photocopies of their documents, which will be used for documentation.

However, the date, time and center for the Kebbi State teachers’ interview and examination/computer-based test will be communicated to all successful candidates through the state’s official portal.

Secondly, you will be required to navigate to the recruitment section to enable you to check if you are one of the candidates whose names were shortlisted for screening, interview and examination.

Has The Kebbi State TESCOM Shortlisted The Names Of 2025/2026 Successful Candidates?

No. The government of Kebbi State is not yet recruiting for the year 2025/2026, and the Kebbi State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has not yet released the PDF list of shortlisted candidates for the year 2025.

As soon as the Kebbi State teachers begin their teacher recruitment exercise, the recruitment and employment list will be made available on the state’s official portal.
