As part of its efforts to enhance academic excellence throughout the 20 local government areas (LGAs) in Bauchi State, the Bauchi State government has commenced the recruitment of an additional 2000 State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) primary school teachers who will fill all open teaching subject areas in all the state’s public schools.

So, all qualified and eligible teachers or interested applicants are advised to apply, as the date for the filling of applications for all teaching vacant positions, including the application deadline, has been released on the state’s official portal.

All applicants are advised to fill out their applications accurately and upload their documents correctly, as listed on the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) application form.

Bauchi State SUBEB Application Eligibility

According to the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), all applicants interested in any of the vacant positions must meet certain requirements and qualifications.

  • Applicants who wish to apply for the Bauchi State SUBEB jobs must have either a B.Sc., HND, NCE or OND. It is essential for the public to note that qualifications vary depending on the position for which they are applying.

  • In order to be considered, applicants must have an O-Level result consisting of either WASSCE, NECO or GCE. These results (WASSCE, NECO or GCE) must have at least five credit passes and should not be more than two (2) sittings.

  • All interested applicants must have their certificate of birth or declaration of age, a certificate of state of origin or identification, a valid/legal means of identification (a voter’s card, National Identity Number (NIN) or others) and a passport photograph.

  • Interested applicants are to note that a medical report of fitness for work, obtained from a government hospital, will also be required and having other supporting documents will be an additional advantage.

  • You will be required to apply by creating an account with your email and password
