The Benue State Government Announces The Recruitment of Public School Teachers, TESCOM Application Form & Portal Now Open

The Benue State government, in its mission to strengthen the quality of education in the state, has finally announced the recruitment of public school teachers across the 23 local government areas in Benue State. All qualified teachers, fresh graduates and applicants who possess the application criteria can visit the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) official portal and apply.

Interested applicants across the state’s local government areas are all invited to apply to any of the advertised teaching areas that suit their qualifications and teaching skills.

KEY INFORMATION: To apply for any of the teaching jobs advertised by the Benue State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), interested applicants must meet certain qualifications, age brackets and other application requirements as released on the application form.

To apply for the Benue State teacher recruitment, all applicants must submit all relevant information and documents when filling out the application form via the state’s official portal, after all relevant personal details and documents have been filled out accurately and correctly.

The public should note that any of the applications, which are not submitted through the Benue State Teachers recruitment official portal at https://benuestate.gov.ng/, will be considered a lost application.

To participate in the online application for any of the TESCOM teaching jobs, all applicants who possess all the mentioned qualifications announced by the Benue State Teaching Service Commission must fill out and submit their application before the announced deadline.

All applicants should note that there are no charges attached to the application form, as the Benue State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced that its teacher’s application form is free and available on the state’s government official portal.

All interested applicants who want to be selected for any of the teaching subject areas must apply in line with the instructions stated on the TESCOM application form to strengthen their chances of being shortlisted for screening, computer-based recruitment tests, oral interview and other selected processes that may be conducted by the commission before the final list of teachers is released.

The https://benuesubeb.org application official portal is currently open for all teachers throughout the 23 local government areas in Benue State as they are advised to apply to teach in any of the subject areas before Sunday 15th September 2024.

Prior to 12:00 midnight on Sunday 15th September 2024, any applicants who have yet to apply will be unable to access the official portal of the Benue State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

Benue State TESCOM Teaching Application Requirements

The following requirements must be met by all interested applicants before they can be eligible to apply for any of the teaching fields via the official TESCOM portal.

These requirements have been posted on this source in order to provide all interested applicants with the criteria needed for their applications.

• All interested teachers in all the 23 local government areas in the state must meet teaching qualifications in B.Sc. [Ed], B.A. [Ed], NCE, or B. [Ed].

• All interested applicants should not be more than 35 years old. They are also required to provide their respective certificates of birth or any declaration of age. The public should note that any of the applicants who possess a declaration of age obtained from relevant authorities should note that this document (declaration of age) should be at least six months old.

• Interested applicants must have a certificate of state of origin, medical fitness report for work (government hospital), passport-size photographs and five (5) credit passes in WASSCE, GCE or NECO.

All interested applicants are to apply online by completing the Benue State TESCOM application form correctly and accurately and submitting it before the application closing date.

• Upload a passport-sized photograph

• Print out the application slip

• Attach your supporting documents

• Submit.

Applicants may be required to print out a copy of their application submission slip, attach their documents to it, and submit a copy of that to the Benue State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) headquarters in some cases.

If you meet the Benue State TESCOM application criteria, just note that you will be notified by the commission when the PDF list of shortlisted candidates has been released.

Is The Benue State TESCOM Recruiting For 2025/2026?

TESCOM, the Benue State Teaching Service Commission, may recruit additional public school teachers if a need for it arises; however, the government of Benue State has not yet announced whether they will recruit or not.
