SUBEB, Jigawa State Screening Date, Time and Center For The Recruitment of Primary School Teachers
Further recruitment stages have commenced for the intake of candidates who were shortlisted, as the Jigawa State SUBEB has announced the recruitment and screening of candidates across the 27 local government areas in the state.
Any of the individuals who applied for concluded advertised teaching jobs during the online application process are to visit https://subebjigawa.org.ng/recruitment/ and check the recently released screening date, time and center.
This recruitment announcement is for all candidates whose names were shortlisted in any of the twenty-one (21) subject areas advertised by the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
They are urged to adhere to the scheduled time and date, as any of them who fail to report on the day of the screening will be disqualified even if they were shortlisted.
In order to confirm your eligibility, all shortlisted candidates must arrive at the Jigawa State SUBEB screening center by 07:00 am as screening of credentials screening, and other screening exercises will commence exactly at 8:00 am.
SUBEB, Jigawa State Recruitment Screening Update
Candidates are to check if they are eligible for the next recruitment process and report to the Jigawa State SUBEB screening center with the original certificate. These certificates are either:

(NCE, BA ED, BED or B.Sc. ED) or (B.Sc. or B.A.) in English Language, Mathematics, and other Science courses. They must come with the original result of their O’level result certificate (WASSCE, NECO or GCE).

Candidates with either of these degrees (BA ED, BED or B.Sc. ED) or (B.Sc., or B.A.) in English Language, Mathematics, and other Science courses must present their NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter respectively.

Original copy of their certificate of birth or declaration of age, a print-out of their application submission slip a certificate of state of origin, a passport photograph, and other supporting documents obtained from an accredited institution.
All candidates should note that being shortlisted does not mean that the board and management have selected them to teach any of the open subjects advertised on the government portal.
All candidates who have been shortlisted should note that they will be screened, including their documents will be checked by SUBEB to verify their authenticity, before they can be invited to other recruitment exercises.
Thereafter, any of the candidates who pass the Jigawa State SUBEB screening exercise will be invited for an examination or computer-based test and an oral interview.
The date for the Jigawa State SUBEB screening, including that of the examination or computer-based test and an oral interview, will also be released by the board through the state’s official portal.
Update On Candidates Who Are Eligible For Screening
Several applicants, who submitted, applied or filled out an application during the concluded online application process for the hiring of additional primary school teachers, but did not get shortlisted, have asked if they can still report for screening on the date released by the Jigawa State SUBEB.
In this case, the answer is no. It is important for them to note that only candidates whose names appear on the list released by SUBEB through its official portal are eligible to report for the screening exercise.
They are also reminded to come along with the original documents, and a photocopy of each one of their documents when reporting on screening day.
NOTE: Any of the applicants who submitted, applied or filled out an application but did not get shortlisted are advised not to report to the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to avoid embarrassment.
