Kaduna State (KSTSB) has opened its job recruitment portal (tsbrecruitment.com) as the Teaching Service Commission has announced to Kaduna State and Nigeria that the screening date for candidates to be recruited as junior and secondary school teachers has now been announced.

All candidates recently shortlisted are to take note of the screening date, time and center which is now available for candidates to stay informed and prepare ahead for the teacher’s screening exercise.

Now, it is time for candidates to stay informed and prepare for their respective screening exercises. They should note that there will be a screening of all job application documents, screening of candidates in the job areas that they applied for and oral interviews.

However, it is crucial to note that thousands of candidates have been shortlisted for the next step of the KSTSB teacher recruitment exercise and only qualified candidates will be selected and invited to interviews and computer-based tests.

With this information, now it has shown that being shortlisted does not mean that the Kaduna State Teaching Service Commission has considered you for its jobs as all concerned candidates must pass each stage (screening, interview and computer-based test) to qualify for any of the jobs.

Successful candidates who have been shortlisted for any of the KSTSB jobs have a better opportunity of being shortlisted on the final list.

It is important to note, however, that the screening process which will be conducted by the Kaduna State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) is an important step toward choosing qualified candidates who have what it takes to teach school pupils.

They must come alongside their original and photocopies of the documents submitted to the commission during the online application process.

These documents are all academic certificates for BS.c., HND, NCE or OND, WASSCE, NECO or GEC including TRCN for candidates who are registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

Other documents are a certificate of birth, passport photographs, identification card, certificate of state of origin, medical report for work (obtainable from any of the government hospitals), NYSC discharge or exemption certificate and other supporting documents.

Reporting alongside these documents is mandatory for all candidates who want to be recruited by the government of Kaduna State.

No, the Teaching Service Commission, Kaduna State recruitment for the year has not begun and the government of Kaduna State has not yet released any information about its 2025/2026 recruitment starting date or screening date for the assessment of candidates who will be recruited as teachers across the 23 local government areas.

However, the public is hereby informed that the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has not yet released any date regarding the screening of candidates shortlisted for any of the teaching jobs.
