TESCOM, Kwara State Screening Date For The Hiring of New Secondary School Teachers | tescom.kw.gov.ng

Following the completion of the recently concluded online applications for the recruitment of additional secondary school teachers, the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has shortlisted and released an official date for screening of qualified candidates or teachers whose original documents will be screened for the selection of eligible candidates who will be recruited and posted across the 16 local government areas.

Candidates who were shortlisted by the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) in any of the junior and secondary school subject areas teaching vacancies, such as:

• English Language

• Mathematics

• Physics

• Chemistry

• Biology

• Literature in English

• History

• Home Economics

• Business Education

• Geography

• Computer Science

• Civic Education

• Islamic Religious Studies

• Christian Religious Studies

• Fine Arts

• Agriculture Science

• Yoruba

• Arabic

Will be invited for screening assessments, and they are all advised to visit the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Kwara State’s official portal, at https://tescom.kw.gov.ng/ and check if their names are on the recruitment list of shortlisted candidates.

It is important to note that the screening of shortlisted candidates’ documents will begin at 10:00 AM daily, and all candidates in the 16 local government areas who will report on the dates released by the commission will be expected to abide by the dates and times as announced by the commission through its recruitment portal.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Any candidate who does not appear on the scheduled date for their respective screenings should note that the Kwara State TESCOM will NOT announce an additional screening date for them, which may result in them being disqualified.

TESCOM, Kwara State Screening Update

All candidates who the commission has chosen according to their respective qualifications during the concluded shortlisting process will be invited to be screened for credentials.

On the day of this exercise, all candidates in all the 16 local government areas in Kwara State MUST report with their documents, which must be an original-certified copy.

They are also reminded to come along with photocopies of these documents when reporting on the dates released on the TESCOM official portal.

NOTE: The following documents that will be submitted to the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) screening management are:

• The original copy of your NCE, B. Ed, B.Sc. Ed, or B.A. Ed that you obtained from the institution that you attended.

• If you are coming with a Higher National Diploma (HND) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), you must have relevant school subjects.

• Shortlisted candidates for the Kwara State teachers screening must present their O’Level (WASSCE, NECO or GCE) results.

• Candidates who possess qualifications such as TRCN must present proof showing that they are registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

• All candidates with this degree such as B. Ed, B.Sc. Ed, or B.A. Ed must present their NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

• All shortlisted candidates must present a recent medically certified fitness for work from any of the government hospitals.

All shortlisted candidates who do not have these documents will not be screened and may risk losing out on the Kwara State TESCOM recruitment exercise.

How To Check The TESCOM, Kwara State Screening Date

The management of Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) will announce the date, time and center when the 2025/2026 screening of shortlisted candidates will begin if there are ongoing recruitment activities.

Those who pass their qualifying examination will be notified via their recruitment portal, https://tescom.kw.gov.ng/.

Is The TESCOM, Kwara State Screening Date Out for 2025?

No. The Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) or the government of Kwara State has not yet released the 2025/2026 screening date or any of the teachers’ recruitment schedules through its communication channels or portals.

All interested applicants who are aspiring for the Kwara State teachers recruitment jobs should note that the commission has not yet disclosed if they will be recruiting for the year 2025 as its official portals have not yet been authorized or enabled to accept job teaching applications.
