Katsina State Teachers Or TESCOM Shortlist Names of Successful Candidates, Teachers Recruitment Process Still Ongoing
The names of successful shortlisted candidates have been released by the management of the KATSINA STATE TEACHING SERVICE COMMISSION (TESCOM), as ordered by His Excellency Governor Radda to commence speedy recruitment of the state’s public school teachers for the hiring of seven thousand three hundred twenty-five (7,325) teachers who will be recruited for 2023 and 2024.
According to state government instructions, the teacher’s committee will oversee the recruitment of additional teachers and will monitor the recruitment process (screening of credentials, an aptitude examination and an interview).
All applicants in all the 34 local government areas in Katsina State who applied for the teachers or TESCOM teaching jobs for 2023 and 2024 are advised to check their respective names on the recently published PDF list of shortlisted candidates.
The governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Governor Radda, has made it open to the public that the recruitment of public school teachers across the local government areas will increase learning and end the shortage of primary, junior and secondary school teachers in all the state’s public schools.

Information was gathered that an unexpected number of applicants submitted their applications in the following teaching subject areas:

But not all applicants who submitted their applications were shortlisted in the ongoing KATSINA STATE TEACHING SERVICE COMMISSION (TESCOM) recruitment exercise.
However, Katsina State TESCOM has said that about seven thousand three hundred twenty-five (7,325) teachers will be recruited at the end of the 2023 and 2024 recruitment exercises.
Applicants Not Shortlisted By Katsina State TESCOM
There are an unexpected number of applications received from applicants across the 34 local government areas in the state, but unfortunately, NOT all applicants meet the Katsina State Teachers application requirements, which has made some applicants unable to make it to the shortlisting stage.
So, all applicants are expected to have checked the status of their applications by now to see if they were shortlisted.
For those who have checked and did not see their names of the 2023 and 2024 PDF list of shortlisted candidates should their either their application was filled wrongly, or they uploaded a scanned copy of the O’Level result that did not meet up to five (5) credit passes or the number of candidates needed by the state government to meet the seven thousand three hundred twenty-five (7,325) teachers who will be recruited has been selected and shortlisted.
As a matter of fact, the government of Katsina State has said that the recruitment of school teachers will be based on their merit and professionalism, and the public should be aware of that.
And any applicants whose names were not published on the PDF list of shortlisted candidates should not feel dejected, as they are all encouraged to note their errors and apply again if Katsina State TESCOM announces another teacher recruitment exercise in the future.

All applicants who applied for any of the advertised teaching positions are advised to type in their email address and passport in the space provided to enable them to check their application status on the Katsina State teachers’ recruitment portal.
