TESCOM, Katsina State Public School Teachers Recruitment Requirements

Any member of the public who wishes to teach in any of the advertised subject areas must have certain criteria and relevant qualifications before they can be able to fill out the application form completely. These qualifications are:

• Applicants must possess either NCE, B. Ed, or B.Sc. Ed, or B.A. Ed and applicants with BS.c with key subjects with a teaching certificate such as (NCE or PGDE).

• Interested applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes, including Mathematics and English, in their respective O’Level results.

• All interested across the 34 local government areas must be registered with the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). They are also advised to upload a clear scanned copy of their various TRCN certificate when applying online.

• Those who will be submitting their respective applications should not be above 35 years old.

• All interested applicants must have either an NYSC discharge certificate or an exemption letter for those who do not serve their one (1) year NYSC program.

• All candidates must upload the certificate of birth or age declaration and their respective certificate of state of origin or identification.

The public should note that all these documents above will be screened on the day of the screening and there will also be drug tests which will be conducted by Katsina State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) screening officials.
