However, it has been announced that the state government will be recruiting an additional 7,325 primary and secondary school teachers, as Katsina State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced that the ongoing recruitment of school teachers that started on September 2023/2024 will improve the quality of education in Katsina State and end the poor number of primary, junior and secondary school teachers across the 34 local government areas, as instructed by the governor of Katsina State Dikko Radda.
